3 Party Ready NYE Outfit Ideas (That Don't Include Sequins)


Sequins are on obvious holiday go-to, but when everyone is reaching for them on New Years Eve they seem to loose their luster. Stand out in a sea of sequin dresses (and pants!) this year and take inspiration from these three party ready outfits.


 Feathers and Fringe:




 Dance the night away in a pair of fabulous fringe pants! Or in a top, or a dress... it's totally up to you. You'll be ready to twirl the night away!

This black on black look has a slimming and elongating effect, but the texture mix of the fringe and feathers keep it from being boring. Add color, print, and shine with your accessories- like I did with my vintage necklace and leopard coat.

 Shimmery Metallics:






Wear a sweater with a metallic skirt for a cozy glam look. Mix metals to add an extra touch of glam. Layer up the jewels and throw your hair in a messy pony (or bun) and you are instantly chic. Or, opt for NYE headwear like my DIY disco ball headband! (I got the idea from A Subtle Revelry)

Faux Fur and Big Bows:




Try a faux fur skirt, a fun take on a feather skirt, as another standout option. Pair it with girly accessories like bows and glitter for more definition and flair.
