Christmas Party Style: Dress Up Your Little Black Dress

Who doesn't love a little glitz and glam for 'rockin' around the Christmas tree'?

For Christmas parties (well, any party really) I like to wear something I'll stand out in the crowd in...

Why not layer a skirt over a dress? When I found this skirt at the thrift store I think I died and went to vintage heaven! It's the perfect piece to dress up the traditional LBD. It gives my dress more fullness and drama- not to mention adds a festive pattern and shine to an otherwise typical dress.

Not everyone will have the pleasure of finding a skirt like this, but think outside the box- try a blanket scarf around the waist or repurpose a tree skirt!

Shimmery, glittery, and festive accessories are a must for a Christmas party. Oversized jewels and glitter will catch everyone's eye! And who says reindeer antlers and jingle bells are tacky?! Everything looks better in gold.
