Valentine's Day is just around the corner! To get you in the spirit of love, I'm showing you a flirty daytime appropriate Valentine's outfit. Check back because I'll be sharing some Date Night and Galentine's inspiration here soon!
I love dressing for Valentine's Day- mainly because you can get away with dressing in head to toe pink without looking like you're trying to be Barbie! Or Elle Woods... but I would totally be her any day! (she's my fave) This look is easy to wear and really comfortable. I wore black with pops of V-Day-esque pinks and reds to maintain a happy balance between 'everyday cute' and 'walking Valentine.'
This outfit is super simple and I'm sure you have some items in your closet that you could piece together to create a similar look. Really all you need is a black top, a printed skirt, and black boots. Make it your own with a cute floral mini or even red Hunter boots! Skip the boots entirely and wear black tights and flats. It's an equation of nearly endless possibilities.
I love all of the flirty details that I managed to squeeze into this outfit- ruffles, hearts, lips, and a big bow! It's all perfectly girly and flirty! A pair of heart sunnies would have been the icing on the top of this Valentine's cake.
Let me tell you a quick secret about this outfit... I got this skirt for a quarter! Literally thrifted it for 25 cents. My entire outfit cost less than $40 (my fabulous bag was a birthday gift from my sis) Just wanted to emphasize the power of thrifting for a minute.
Top: H&M (cute option here) // Skirt: thrifted // Boots: Cape Robbin (zulily) // Purse: Kate Spade (no longer avail, cute option here) // Earrings: Walmart // Lips: Mac Candy Yum Yum
See you soon with a Valentine's Date Night look!Labels: fashion, holiday style, outfit, valentines
