Fall is one of the best times of the year! The seasonal transition is so pretty, so we try to take advantage of the mild weather before Winter keeps us indoors for a couple of months. What better way to spend time outside during Fall than with your loved ones out at the pumpkin patch? Taylor and I have been going to the same pumpkin patch for the past couple of years, so this year we decided to take a road trip out to somewhere new!
We drove a few hours across the state of Washington to the city of Ellensburg where we found the cutest patch, Huffman Farms. We were greeted by smiling faces and a field of outdoor games set up for family fun time. The cutest little pumpkin vignettes were displayed across the field and around the little gift shop too.
The gift shop offered a few local handmade products like soaps, decor, and marshmallows. My favorite purchase were these 'peanut butter cookie dream bars' which tasted like heaven!
If you get hungry on your visit you can even grab a bite at their cute Silo Cafe & BBQ Shack! We had plans for lunch with the family on our way to our next road-trip stop so we didn't get a chance to try the food, but setup was so fun that I had to share!
The farm is very picturesque, in fact they even offer an onsite photographer! You can get your pictures taken anywhere on the farm for free and view them online where you could choose if you would like purchase for download. How cool is that? They offer great photo props on the farm too, like the cutest red vintage truck (complete with a 'pumpkns' license plate!) and a flatbed truck with bales of hay and pumpkins.
Our visit to the patch was the kick-start to our 1 year anniversary vacation. I can't believe it has already been a whole year! Together we picked the perfect pumpkins to decorate our front porch for the season, roamed the farm taking pictures, and had fun playing the yard games. The pumpkin sling shot game was the best!
